We are still alive!

So i'll post a few of the goings on around my house since I haven't posted for a while. (Thanks for the inspiration Jamie!!!)
BRAD
Has been working on a new project in Cedar City.  The first home in the subdivision was funded and he has been digging holes.  It has been quite a learning experience for him because in Cedar City, when you dig for a foundation, you have to compact the ground because when you touch the soil, it feels a bit like flour... what?? Yep, flour.  It needs to be mixed with water and then he gets to play with a little remote control doohickie to compact the ground so that the foundation doesn't sink or shift.  =0)  They have to get it tested every 2 inches by an engineer.  He finally got through with that shinanigan and now is on to framing the house.  He is starting that this morning and is excited about it!  He is excited that he will have his family down in Cedar City with him by the end of the month!
Kristin
I have been doing a lot of busy work it seems.  We put our house on the market, but as everyone in Utah can attest, the market is awful right now!  So, I put an ad on KSL classifieds for rent and got 3 calls the first day!  2 of them have come to see it and 1 definitely wants it!  So, We had found a house in Cedar City that we wanted to rent but because we waited too long, we lost it.  And I feel like it was heaven sent that we did!  I found an even better house that is about 2 minutes from where Brad will be working and it is cheeper and has an extra bedroom.  I haven't seen it yet, just have trusted that Brad knows what he's doing (he does!!!).  I have been cleaning the house a lot because of people wanting to see it. And that is quite the task with 3 little ones around, especially since Mary has been in Oregon and I didn't have her helpful hands helping me.  I swear, ever time someone was just about to get here, I'd look around at the clean house and the girls had already made at least one more mess!  AHHH  Like the puffie cheerio thingys were dumped all over the floor, and then the basket of toys all over the floor.  The lotion smeared on the back window leading to the deck and on the mirror in my bedroom.  (I really oughta buy those kids some finger paints!!)  Anyhow, the girls are definitely two, and running amuck.  They haven't been going to sleep very well.  I haven't been able to get their schedule back on track since day light savings.  I used to put them down at 8:00 and they were asleep within about 10 minutes.  But now, it's a miracle if they are asleep by 9:00.  Lacey especially, she drags her feet and has to go potty 5 times and wants me to get her toys in her bed, she needs a drink, or a snack.  Wants kisses, whatever she can possibly think of!  I remember when I was young, I would do that (mostly because I wanted to know what the adults were talking about).  Maybe it's because it stays light outside until after nine.  I have no idea.  Anyhow, I have been trying to get Dylan to cut down on the night feedings, he is after all 10 months and it has been said that it's now a habit that he wakes up to eat so I need to cut out all the feedings in the middle of the night.  YEAH RIGHT, he is starving when he wakes up at 10, 2, and 6!!!  He goes to bed about 6:00-7:00, just depends when his last nap ended.  I best refer to my sleep habits book for both of those things I guess.  Anyhow, that's what I've been dealing with.  Also, i've been working really hard at exercising to lose all this extra weight that I've put on.  I walk 2-30 minute sessions on the tread mill, going about 1 mile in 15 minutes (that's sad considering before I was married I was running 10 minute miles).  Then I will do an aerobics, cardio, kickboxing video while the kids are sleeping.  It is working out good and I never know why I quit exercising.  It makes me feel soooo good!!!  My moms thinks it's because I have my hands full of kids (I do) but I still feel like I need to take time for myself, which is why I've set up this little routine!  I've also been gearing up for our road trip that we are taking with Missy and Brett on June 10th-15th!!!  Why we're doing a road trip with gas prices astronomically high is beyond me, but it should be fun!  We will leave at 6:00 that morning and pick Brad up in Cedar City,  head on down to Las Vegas, we will stay in the stratosphere that night and just do whatever we feel like in Vegas that day and night.  Then we will wake up early and head over to San Diego to the Sea World We will then stay the night in Long beach and wake up the next morning and go to Catalina Island.  We hope to take some bike tours while we are there in Catalina.  Then we will go over to Bakersfield and stay the night then go through sequoia national forest.  Then we will go over to San Jose and stay the night then go to the Winchester House Mansion.  Then to San Diego to Fishermans Wharff! Then we will drive all night to get home for Fathers Day!  It should be fun, but there will be almost no down time and 36 hours of driving time, which will be ok I think!  I am ready for a  vacation and am very grateful that Mike and Cheryl are willing to take care of my kids for the entire 5 days!  =0)  In fact, they have so many fun things to do at their house that I'm certain when I get there, They won't want to come home with boring mama!  =0)
Tenille
I am obsessed with going potty on the big potty and I love to see how big my poopies are (wierdo!!)  When I see it, I say, there's a big one mommy!!!  It is so funny to see the look on her face!   I am obsessed with my pacifiers much to mommys chagrin, She is looking to get rid of them after the move is all done and over with.   Until then, I will be asking for them about every 5 minutes, that mean mommy only lets me have them when I'm sleeping.  =0)
Lacey
I am starting to babble like crazy.  I will take the phone to mommy and say, "talk to daddy" then she'll talk to him and say almost nothing most of the time. Although today I talked a lot.  Most of which Daddy couldn't understand, but hey, I'm trying!  =0)  I am looking forward to being with Daddy and Grandpa again in Cedar City.  Oh yeah, Tenille and I are playing a lot nicer together, we still have fights sometimes, but most of the time we're laughing.  =0)
Dylan
I am crawling really fast all over the place, I am starting to stand up in the middle of the room and balanace there for a while, it makes me so proud of myself!  I am getting into as much trouble as possible and love to climb everything I see.  Especially the slide when I can get out the door to climb it.  I am giving mom a run for her money most of the time.  I am still a very easy going happy baby, unless Tenille and Lacey decide to take my toy from me.  My new favorite things are neon little soccer balls.
Baby #4
HAHA, just kidding!  =0)

Anyhow, when we get back from our road trip I will have a lot more to post of the fun things we've been doing, until then, I will be packing up the house and getting ready to go on our trip!

You guys sound busy. I am glad you found somewhere to stay in Cedar City.
Great job on the exercising. That is the only time I can get in exercise is when the boys are asleep.
I skipped over the part where you said Tenille and Lacey were off their routine, gotta stay positive.
Have fun on your road trip and keep us posted, it's good to hear from you
