Ogden and going Private

So now that I no longer have my blog haunting me, I have a few announcements.  We are moving back to Ogden by the first of the year!  YAY!!!  Cedar City no longer holds any work for our business and as much as we've looked, nothing has come up.  Also, now that Brad is working in Star Valley on jobs, Cedar City is 8 hours away, and Ogden is only 3... it just makes sense.  He also has a lot of contacts in Ogden so that makes sense too.  So yippee... that makes me happy.  I feel like I have missed out on a lot of things that have gone on, and I feel like I'm not just a visitor when I visit, I'm like an alien invasion.  Poor Ben and Jake don't know what hit's them when I bring my brood to visit.  =0)  Thanks guys, you're really helpful.  So if anyone knows anyone who needs a contractor, Brad's your guy... he does everything, and he's not just a jack of all trades, he does most things really well and quickly!  So, send them our way, we'll give them a bid  =0)

I am also taking my blog private, I would hate it if someone not good came across my blog and decided to deface it or something.  so if anyone still wants to keep up with me, let me know and I will add you to the safe list.

Everyone take care, and I will update again soon!

Cute Pictures of Lacey and Tenille

Just thought I'd share these pictures as well
Evie, Tenille, Lacey, and Addie looking out the window of my moms house.  It was so cute.

This is Brad with Lacey and Tenille in Mike and Cheryls pool.

Lacey posing for the camera, I love that they will now cheeser on command  =0)

Halloween

So, Halloween this year was spend at my parents annual chili cook off, although this year, they added some clam chowder,  WE eat it in PUmpkin bread bowls and it is so Yummy!  Missy and Brett were there with Max, Christine and Jeremiah with Jessica and Cody, Mark and Rebecca with Evie and Addie.  Brad couldn't come because he was in the middle of painting.  Anyhow, my kids chose their costumes this year and they were adorable although Lacey wouldn't wear the minnie mouse ears I made... oh well, maybe another time.  Dylan was Donald (the twins chose his costume), Tenille was Daisy, and Lacey was Minnie.  and yes, Dylan is wearing tights.   Reminds me of "we're men, we're men in tights"  =0)  Happy Halloween everyone!

Dylans smile

Dylan has the most attractive smile, and now he is using it a lot more since he got all 4 of his first molars (thank you).  I just thought I'd show a few of my favorite smile shots.  He knows just what to do when I pull out the camera, it's adorable.

Finger Painting and Potty Training

So for potty Training, we decided to do a treat bowl after every successful use of the toilet.  Inside were finger paints, so that afternoon we got the paper out and the big shirts on (I wish I remember how Mrs. Crow made them)  and went for it.  Lacey decided that after one try, she wasn't going to eat it and thankfully on the label it said non-toxic... so it was a lot of fun and one big mess to clean up, but I wouldn't have given it up!

Dylans 1st birthday

so, he turned one on July 31st... well, here we are in November and I am just posting... oh well, what can you do.

It was a quiet birthday here at home.  We invited Brads old mission companion that lives right down the street, and of course Mary and Lonnie were here too.  He was excited that he got toys that were just his, I talked to the girls that day and told them that he was getting toys that were just his and they needed to ask before they used them, and that he was a good sharer, and they needed to ask first but that they would get their turn.  I know that he knew they were his the moment that he saw them, just the look on his face when he saw that gigantic dump truck.. it was adorable!

The cupcake he wasn't sure what to do with at first, he kinda looked at it, then at me, like "are you crazy giving me that, I'm just going to get messy!  =0)  Happy birthday you little peach!

3 weddings... and hopefully no funerals =0) (knock on wood)

So 3 friends got married this summer, and they just happen to be in the same family.  My friend Donna, got married first, just after we moved to Cedar City.  She looked beautiful and it was so good to see how happy she was.  She got married at a restaurant in Salt Lake
Then Amy got married in Bear Lake, right by the lake, she looked absolutely gorgeous and the setting was perfect for her.  They have a lot of family memories there.

Then Kim was last in October, I wasn't able to go to that one and I was bummed, it was on a Tuesday and I couldn't do anything with the kids.  But I am happy for them all... I just wanted to say how beautiful they all looked.  and comment on what an expensive year it must have been for their family  =0)  I hope Tenille and Lacey don't get married close together.

Quilting

This quilt was made for a Raffel that Kesslee's gymnastics team were fundraising to go to competitions.  I helped do the outer edges, but that's it.  =0)  Mary and Shanna did the rest, it turned out really good!

2 weeks in Star Valley....

.... and a party every day!
Gymnastics
Aunt Shanna is a gymnastics coach, so the perks were that TEnille, Lacey, and Dylan got to go play!  I stepped onto the floor and I was shocked, I had no idea they were that bouncey!!  It was tons of fun.
Daddy helping my Balancing skills... Tenille
Lacey
Dylan though crawling under this thing was pretty cool.

The chair climbing started at our Thanksgiving Dinner with Brad's family... and it hasn't stopped yet... in fact Dylan fell off the counter today because he climbs onto my chairs here at home too... TURKEY...

Swimming in Jackson at the Aquatics Center
So Brad took Tenille and Lacey down the little kids water slide.. then they saw the big slide, so we got to go down that with them while Grandpa held Dylan, they loved it and then the little slide not longer held any fancy for them.
We walked in with all our kids and the staff probably thought, put the lifeguards on watch, there are lots of little kids here. =0)  It was so fun, the girls have been talking about it since then.

Yes, he does have 7 children on that 4-wheeler!
making Dinner with Ashton and Aunt Shanna
Tenille, sideways, loves to jump on the trampoline.
Daddy tickling Tenille and lacey, on the tramp no less.
AShton is so cool, he can make a choo choo train with chairs!
CATS CATS CATS
The new obsession is cats, which is a bummer for them because I am allergic.  (i'm happy that's the case because cats scare me....  something to do with a child hood memory I guess).  Rhett and Shanna have 3 cats and the girls were running around yelling about kitties and holding them all the time.  Dylan stayed away because when he tried to grab the medium sized one, superman, he got scratched.
We also have a neighbor cat who thinks out yard must be better then its own when it comes to keeping her kitties warm.  It has brought her kitties over here 3 times.  They keep coming over and getting them, but she keeps bringing them back, Tenille and Lacey are obsessed.  Well, we have a froggy at least  =0)

Zions

One good thing about living here in Cedar is the amount of National Parks that are less than an hour away.  We took a Saturday and decided to go there.  It was such a good time, the kids liked being able to ride in a car without wearing their seatbelts for one, and for two, they enjoyed looking at the "BIIIG rocks"  It was a really good Saturday and I'm really glad that we went!  It was funny because at the last stop, Brad had to use the restroom, Mary and I got on the bus with the kids while Lonnie waited for Brad and they were going to hop on.  Well that didin't happen.  I just hollared to Lonnie, "we'll get off at the next stop!!"  So, off we went... we stopped and at the last stop there was this gorgeous mountain, so I got on the ground and took a picture looking up at the girls and the rock, I think it turned out really good.

Circus

So while Brad was out of town, Mary and Lonnie helped me take the kids to the circus in Hurricane.  The girls enjoyed themselves although we only stayed for part of it because they got going late and had 2 intermissions at 30 minutes each, so I'm quite the stickler for my schedule and didn't want to throw it off too bad.  So, they wanted to ride the Ponies, but by the time we got to the Ponies, Lacey threw a fit... "Mommy, they scared me"  Tenille had a good time although her picture looks like she's bored.

Lacey got to go on the big blow up slide, so she had a good time with that. I can't really even remember the last time I went to the circus, well, vaguely. It was a good time!!
